Players should play in the age group that they will be in for the 2019 season.
Fall Ball games are played every Sunday, with very few (if any) practices.
Modified Kid Pitch 7/8 year olds play one game every Sunday, six to eight games total. Shirts are included in registration fees of $115, and "End of Season" tournament included for all teams.
The 9/10, 11/12, 13/14 year olds play double headers every Sunday, 12-16 games per season. Shirts are included in the $175.00 registration fees and "End of Season" tournament included for all teams.
Are you interested in machine pitch?
Machine pitch is a great way to develop young players (6-8 year olds). Typically the kids see more consistent pitching and are taught that they have to hit (no walks). Shirts are included in the $90.00 registration fees and "End of Season" tournament included for all teams.
This creates a great environment to develop skills in the field as well, as you see many more fielding opportunities because kids are hitting and not walking. Machine pitch is not for very beginners, players should be able to throw, catch, and play baseball for the length of a game (1.5 hours).
Brighton Youth Baseball Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which provides opportunities for children between the ages of 4-14 to play both recreational and competitive-league baseball. BYBA competitive teams participate in the Rocky Mountain Junior Baseball League (RMJBL).

Competitive League - There are four (4) levels or flights for each age group. It is structured much like Major League Baseball, in that there is a Majors level (0 Flight) which is the top level. There are also AAA, AA, and A levels just like Major League Baseball. League play for ages 8 through 14 and games are played in Brighton and the greater metro-Denver area.
Tournament Teams - BYBA offers tournament only team options for highest level of competitive play in the metro area. Teams participating in this area of BYBA must go thru a rigorous application process, commit to playing at the highest levels of State/Regional/National Youth Baseball, and meet performance expectations reviewed after every season.
